Mykonos Island

No matter how many times you’ve been to this island, you’ll always admire the real “sight” in front of your eyes. One of the most cosmopolitan islands in Greece and best-known for its serious nightlife affair with lots of drinks and loud music till the sunrise. Mykonos— a Gem of an island. The island will definitely keep you busy through the day after topping up your tan at its beautiful beaches and tasting its international cuisine. You’ll never want to miss enjoying the romantic and never-ending sunset along with your favourite summerish cocktails. 🍸

By far ranked as one of my top-loved Greek Islands due to the fact that it offers the ultimate combination of relaxation and party life at the same time! ‘Cause we like to party…!

Salzburg, Austria

Salzburg: the city of music. The city where music is always in the air!

Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the fourth largest city in Austria offers magical sceneries with the backdrop of the Alps that scrape the sky. The churches, the squares, the narrow cobbled lanes…
First thing to notice while wandering around town is the magical atmosphere that’s created by the harmony of the classical music that whisks out of every single corner of the side streets.
This Baroque Old Town is deservedly called the “Rome of the North” due to its dramatic architectural layout.

Must-Visit: Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Gardens, the DomQuartier, Mozart’s Residence and the banks of the Salzach River (better on a sunny day).

Must-Dine: Zum Fidelen Affen, a restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, cosy wood-panelled walls and incredibly delicious local food. And beer, of course 😉

Soufflé au Chocolat!

Nutella lover? Soufflé lover? The perfect combo: introducing the heavenly Soufflé de Nutella!

Be sure that a hot and well-risen soufflé, fresh from the oven, will always delight your guests. But in this case, when Nutella shows up, trust me, everybody’s gonna truuuly fall for it!!

Remember: It’s ALL about timing! You have to take them out of the oven just at the right moment. The center should be still molten and gooey, though the texture fluffy and airy. When ready, sprinkle them with a dusting of powdered sugar and of course serve them à la minute!

P.S. Despite its reputation, this dessert is actually quick & easy to make! It always works.

IMG_5212Total time: 25’
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
2 eggs

Cocoa powder

1/2 cup of Nutella

Just give it a try. . . !

  1.   Preheat the oven to 190C

A Weekend in Munich

It’s all about beer, pretzels and wursts! We were lucky enough to visit this lovely city over a sunny weekend and get the chance to wander around Marienplatz, this pretty medieval square in the heart of Munich. There are always new things to discover behind the hustle and bustle of the busy roads…!

IMG_3603

It’s said that nearly under every City Hall of Germany it’s possible that you’ll find a hot-spot restaurant that serves traditional bavarian food and of course LOTS of beer! In this case we’re talking about “Ratskeller” which, trust me, is a must!

IMG_3711

“Fischbrunnen” in Marienplatz

Talking about beer, don’t forget to have a fresh pretzel with a typical cold 1litre beer-mug in the world’s most famous beer hall, “Hofbräuhaus”. Touristy Bavarian experience: loud german live music & plenty of beer!

When the sun goes down, the perfect place for a truly satisfying cocktail experience is at Zephyrs bar in Baader Strasse. If you’re into dancing you should definitely go to the famous P1 Club (late at night). The pizza is amazing, too! 😝🍕

I would also highly recommend a visit to the BMW Museum and BMW Welt –if you’re into cars of course– where you can explore the history of the famed car manufacturer and get a glimpse into its future.

Winter in Kitz

Kitzbühel, a small town near Tyrol which is located in the heart of the Austrian Alps, is considered to be one of the most best-known winter holiday resorts of Austria.

Built on a long ridge of hills, the old town of Kitzbühel offers spectacular sceneries with the highlight of the colourful traditional town houses. As it’s famous for its magical passageways and breathtaking views, I would highly recommend you to take a horse & carriage ride for a more romantic tour around town.

It’s said that “the glamour of the big wide world is reflected in Kitzbühel in a smaller version”. Charming cafés, gourmet restaurants, lively nightlife and exclusive shopping. The outstanding beauty of the Alps will never disappoint you, be sure about it! 😉

P.S. Don’t forget to try some of the Tyrollean traditional dishes such as the Kasspatzln (cheesy gnocchi) and of course the typical Wiener Schnitzel.
